Summer Jobs Service

The Summer Jobs Service can help you find a summer job. Each year we provide support to over 1200 students by delivering workshops in area high schools and assist more than 400 students with finding a summer job.

Who can participate?

• 15-30 years old
• Planning to return to school in the fall

What's offered?

• Free training on how to develop job search and self-marketing skills
• A $2.00 per hour wage subsidy for businesses, and farms, as well as not-for-profit and other community organizations to hire you
• Jobs that can last up to 16 weeks beginning in April and ending by August 30
• Access to our employment resource centre
